Felix “xQc” Lengyel gets his fourth ban from Twitch this week, but for the least controversial of reasons this time around.

The GTA RP streamer got his channel suspended when he broadcasted the Olympics live. The performer said so himself in a tweet, saying:

I THINK I GOT MY CHANNEL LIVE-DMCA'd. I TOOK NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FINE. REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT IT BUT I COUL'VE EASILY AVOIDED THIS. SORRY FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED INCLUDING THE VIEWERS. I'LL BE BETTER/SMARTER NEXT TIME AND FOLLOW GUIDELINES MORE STRICTLY

Given that this would be the fourth time xQc got banned, his channel is now on murky territory. Upon hitting three strikes, channels start to run the risk of getting permanently deleted from the platform. That would hurt for the prolific gamer, as his channel had over six million followers right before his latest suspension. We do hope that this won't be the case for the sake of his fans. Regardless, the streamer has become a magnet for controversy, and seeing him being suspended for such mundane reasons is somewhat disorienting. We're not sure if that's exactly a good thing or not, but good for xQc for acknowledging his mistake, probably. Better be more careful next time.
