Duke freshman Zion Williamson says “it would be dope” to play with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant next season in the NBA.

Williamson is widely expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. It just so happens that the New York Knicks have the worst record in the NBA right now and have been linked to signing Irving and Durant in free agency.

So, would Zion Williamson be excited to play for the Knicks and be teammates with Uncle Drew and KD? Looks like it.

This is every Knicks fan's dream. The franchise drafts Zion Williamson in the draft and then signs Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in free agency. The two questions which remain are will New York get the No. 1 pick, and will Irving and Durant come to the Big Apple as free agents?

Only time will tell, but Knicks fans are already salivating at the thought of having Williamson, Irving and Durant on their team. The franchise created major salary cap room after trading disgruntled power forward Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks. Madison Square Garden is made for players like Williamson, Durant and Irving to star in.

Let's see if the basketball Gods will shine on New York for the first time in a long, long time.
