The first event that leads to the 2017-2018 season is now in the books as this year’s NBA Draft Lottery ends. 14 team representatives now go back to their respective camps to begin preparations for the coming season.

It was a tension-filled evening especially for those who entered the night with high hopes of securing the top pick. Even more so for the Los Angeles Lakers, whose lottery pick was up in the air with the threat of losing it to the Philadelphia 76ers.

As fate would have it, the ping pong balls went in favor of the East’ best regular season team in the Boston Celtics as they were awarded with the top overall pick.

Danny Ainge and company will now face the good problem of having to decide who among the likes of Lonzo Ball, Markelle Fultz, or Josh Jackson, among others, will get to wear the team’s green jersey.
