With bye weeks starting to impact both NFL franchises and fantasy football owners alike, being able to have a rock solid back-up quarterback or a quarterback with a later bye will come in handy in Week 7. In this specific post, we'll be doing our Fantasy Football Week 7 quarterbacks outlook post, gandering at fantasy quarterbacks who can help you win the week.

With fantasy football owners having the ability to stream running backs and wide receivers in volume, there is not the same option for quarterbacks, unfortunately, as the premiere position in the NFL only really has a handful of true top tier fantasy players to begin with even before the byes.

However, there is good news. There are at least three quarterbacks that are go-to options in Week 7. The bad news, though? You won't be able to pick up any of them and better start praying that you're not playing against any of them either.

Fantasy Football Week 7 Quarterbacks Start ‘Em

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

It is a pretty safe bet to say that the Los Angeles Rams are going to absolutely dismantle the winless Detroit Lions on Sunday. Not only is this a revenge game for both quarterbacks but the Lions have yet to win a single game this season, have failed in all aspects of the game week in and week out and will need to face a surging Rams team that is catching fire early on.

With longtime Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford now under center in Los Angeles and playing well for the Rams, one can presume that the veteran signal caller will have a little extra something for his former team in Week 7. Stafford could very well become the highest scoring quarterback this week…by halftime.

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Chicago Bears notably upset the eventual Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season while there is just no way that future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady has forgotten about it. Even with the Buccaneers ultimately going on to win a title, Brady isn't the type to go down to the same team twice while the Bears do not have a tremendous team to back up last year's performance with. With Brady possessing unlimited weapons down in Tampa Bay, look for the seasoned signal caller to stick it to the Bears in Week 7.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are a perfect 6-0 on the season and a large part of that is due to the presence of emergence of quarterback Kyler Murray. With a lowly Houston Texans team next up for Murray and company, there is absolutely no reason why the Cardinals don't improve to 7-0 here.

The only issue that may arise with Murray in Week 7 is that the Cardinals score too many points too quickly and he ultimately heads to the bench to avoid injury. However, at that point, he should be well into the 20s or even 30s in terms of fantasy scoring so the downside is almost already eradicated.

Fantasy Football Week 7 Quarterbacks Sit ‘Em

Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts

Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is currently in the midst of his first go-round as a member of the Indianapolis Colts while the 2021-22 campaign hasn't been too kind to the veteran signal caller.

With that being said, though, Wentz went on an absolute tear last week against the rival Houston Texans en route to becoming one of Week 6's top performers from under center. The flip side of that, however, is that the Texans are one of the worst teams in the league while Wentz's short stint of stellar play should not continue against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7.

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans

Even though the Tennessee Titans are 4-2, sit in first place in the AFC South division and just defeated the previously red hot Buffalo Bills in primetime, quarterback Ryan Tannehill hasn't quite been his usual self this season. Thanks to All-Pro running back Derrick Henry, who currently leads the entire NFL in rushing yards and touchdowns, Tannehill hasn't really had to do all that much thus far into 2021-22.

Although he is still efficient, can run the ball and has the ability to post some gaudy numbers, if the Titans are going to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7, it is definitely going to be by riding Henry up and down the field.

Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns

Even though it is his non-throwing shoulder, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is currently dealing with a pretty severe injury, one that has only gotten work over the course of the last several weeks. With that once again being the case this past week against the Arizona Cardinals, a short week on Thursday Night Football against the pesky Denver Broncos is certainly not a recipe for success for fantasy football owners.
