Jonathan Kuminga, a five-star wing out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, will not be reclassifying to another class. Moreover, the young man claims he's recruitment process is currently wide open.

Stockrisers and Rivals reporter Jake Weingarten relayed the news to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter.

Programs interested in the young man are, but not limited to, the Duke Blue Devils, Auburn Tigers and Kentucky Wildcats. The usual blue-bloods and whatnot.

2021 Recruiting Class – 5-star – No. 1 Overall Prospect

Listed as 6-foot-8 by most places, Kuminga has good hops. I wouldn’t say ‘freakishly athletic’ or anything like that, but he’s more than just passably athletic.

As for how reputable recruiting service outlets view the young man, many have Jonathan Kuminga not only pegged as a five-star caliber player, but as the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2021 college basketball recruiting class.

With news of the young man staying in the 2021 grouping, plus clarification that his recruiting process is wide open, fully expect every quality program in the country to chase after him.
