Week 8 of the 2022 fantasy baseball season is quickly approaching. Getting an advantage by planning ahead with two-start pitchers and streamers is a tremendous way to consistenly win in fantasy baseball.

Today, we are taking a look at the top Week 8 fantasy baseball pitcher streamers.

Rules: Each pitcher mentioned will be rostered in 60 percent or less of leagues according to Yahoo Fantasy. We will take a look at the top projected two-start pitching options as well as some of the best single start options.

One note worth making is that teams do change their scheduled pitchers from time to time. So there is a possibility that pitchers listed here will have starts moved around.

Without further ado, let's get right into it.

Top Week 8 Fantasy Baseball Pitcher Streamers

Two-Start Pitchers

Rich Hill, BOS, 8% Rostered

Matchups: vs. BAL, @OAK

Rich Hill is still hanging around at age 42. He is also still producing respectable numbers as a member of the Red Sox rotation. Hill has only surrendered more than 2 earned runs in one of his past six outings. He is not someone who is going to give you a ton of strikeouts, but you can expect 5 solid innings from the left-hander.

Hill has two very good matchups scheduled for Week 8. Neither Baltimore or Oakland features a dangerous lineup, and the Red Sox will have a high likelihood of winning both games. Hill could end up providing your fantasy baseball team with 10 innings and 2 victories with a few strikeouts over the course of the week. Not bad for a streamer.

Erick Fedde, WSH, 3% Rostered

Matchups: @NYM, @CIN

The name Erick Fedde certainly does not jump off the page. But Fedde has been quietly terrific over the course of his past six starts. He hasn't allowed more than 3 runs during that span and has worked at least 5 innings in each of those outings. Additionally, Fedde struck out 5 batters or more in three of those starts.

And for those of you hesitant due to the scheduled Mets start, Fedde dominated the Dodgers on Wednesday of Week 7. He held LA to no runs over 6 innings while striking out 6. So he has the capability to shut down good lineups.

Glenn Otto, TEX, 2% Rostered

Matchups: vs. TB, vs. SEA

Glenn Otto is another extremely low-rostered option. The Rangers young hurler has been solid over the past few weeks with the exception of one 8-run blowup against the Red Sox. Other than that disastrous outing, Otto has worked at least 5 innings while allowing less than 2 runs in each of his past 3 starts.

Otto also features the most strikeout potential on this list. He held the Angels to 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 7 in a victory in Week 7. He should be able to fare well against lighter-hitting teams in the Rays and Mariners.

Dakota Hudson, STL, 13% Rostered

Matchups: vs. SD, @CHC

Dakota Hudson hasn't been quite as good as of late as the prior names mentioned. However, he is probably the most stable option.

Hudson hasn't endured a terrible outing this year. The most runs he has surrendered in a single start is 4. Hudson also features the ability to work into the 6th and beyond in some starts. He isn't a guy who is going to provide many strikeouts, but stability in a streamer is pivotal.

Note: There is a chance he gets moved to Wednesday based on the current Cardinals rotation setup.

One-Start Streamers

Bailey Ober, MIN, 49% Rostered

Matchup: @DET

Bailey Ober was off to an encouraging start to the year before suffering an injury. However, he made an impressive return against the Royals last week. Ober allowed just 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 4. At 49% rostered, he is someone you could potentially hold onto for the long-term if he keeps pitching well.

But if you simply want him as a streamer, look no further than this tasty matchup against the Tigers. Detroit's lineup has been abysmal this season and Ober should be in line for a tremendous performance.

Merrill Kelly, AZ, 54% Rostered

Matchup: @PIT

Merrill Kelly enjoyed a very strong start to the season for Arizona. However, he has not been quite as good over his past few outings. Nonetheless, Kelly is not a bad pitcher and is set for a matchup with the underwhelming Pirates.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kelly post at least 6 innings in a quality start for the Diamondbacks against Pittsburgh.

Nick Pivetta, BOS, 44% Rostered

Matchup: @OAK

Nick Pivetta is emerging as one of the best pitchers on the Red Sox. He has pitched at least 6 innings in four consecutive starts and even threw a complete game against the Astros last week. The right-hander's roster percentage is steadily climbing but he is still just owned in 44% of Yahoo leagues. But you'll want to be sure to add him before it's too late. His rostership might skyrocket following his upcoming Week 7 Sunday start against the Orioles.

He was also listed in our Week 7 pitcher streamer article as a two-start option.

Pivetta will face the A's in Oakland in Week 8. He should continue to roll and could end up becoming a mainstay on your fantasy baseball squad.
