The Kansas City Chiefs were able to come away with a massive victory in Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
There have been jokes that the Chiefs are back in the past few weeks from some of their players but what they were able to do in Week 16 surely showed that they are actually back and ready to take the league by storm once again. This is the perfect time for Kansas City to be playing its best football because the playoffs are approaching and they're going to want to continue the force that they have been able to play with the past few weeks.
It was questionable why anybody ever thought that a team led by Patrick Mahomes and the weapons that he has around him weren't eventually going to figure it out, but many people doubted this Chiefs team. They continued to show on Sunday that they are one of the best teams in all of football and are going to have a great chance to win a Super Bowl once again.
Let's take a look at three takeaways from the Chiefs' massive 36-10 win against the Steelers in Week 16.

Chiefs Week 16 Takeaways
3. Most dominant they have looked all year
The Kansas City Chiefs have looked good for the better half of the past few weeks of the season. This was undoubtedly the best that they have looked so far this year and it comes at perfect timing. If Kansas City wants to win another Super Bowl, they're going to need to continue playing their best football and they weren't necessarily doing that even though they were getting some wins in the middle of the season.
In Week 16 against the Steelers, everything was clicking for this Kansas City offense and that's exactly what they are going to need to do in the playoffs if they're going to want to win. Most importantly, Patrick Mahomes did not throw any interceptions and if he can continue keeping his turnovers down, Kansas City is going to be nearly impossible to beat.
2. The defense was excellent
The Pittsburgh Steelers don't necessarily have the best offense in all of football but only giving up 10 points to any team in the NFL is very impressive. That's exactly what Kansas City was able to do as they only gave up 10 points and walked away with a commanding victory. If the Chiefs can continue defending at this high of a level, good luck to the rest of the league because Kansas City will not lose a game.
1. Staying healthy for the playoffs
Kansas City has now won the AFC West and has clinched a spot in the playoffs. All they need to do now is worry about getting a high enough seed to try to be the number one team and have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Most importantly, they need to stay healthy and have everybody 100% for the playoffs. They have shown in the past few weeks that the Chiefs are back and that's exactly what they are going to continue to look to do for the back end of the season and into the playoffs.
The players and fans of his organization have to be feeling pretty confident with what they just saw on Sunday and that's not going to change because Kansas City is one of the best teams in all of football, if not, the best in all of football.
