After a busy offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders are set to enter training camp with a talented roster. It'll still be a tough road this year, as the AFC West is incredibly stacked. Luckily for Las Vegas, they have plenty of players to evaluate to help generate the best possible team moving forward. For that reason, we look at three potential roster cut candidates for the Raiders with training camp around the corner.
The starting lineup is likely set for the most part, so most of the camp battles will be for backup roles. With just under 20 rookies joining the roster, there will be plenty of jobs up for grabs. However, that could mean that some veterans could lose out to an exciting rookie prospect. The Raiders coaching staff will have their work cut out for them, but making the necessary cuts will only make the team better.
Considering Las Vegas is stacked at defensive end, a veteran backup's time with the franchise may be cut short. The same can be said for the tight end position, as the Raiders currently have six players competing for a role within that position group. Lastly, due to a rookie acquisition, the coaching staff may have to let go of a running back.
With that said, here are three potential cut candidates on the Raiders roster entering training camp.

Raiders Roster Cut Candidates
3. Kendal Vickers
Entering his third season in the NFL, Kendal Vickers finds himself as a possible cut candidate in training camp. He'll have a chance to prove himself in the preseason, but things aren't looking great for the veteran defensive end. Vickers hasn't provided much production in the first two years of his career and the Raiders may consider moving on.
Additionally, he's competing for a roster spot with newly acquired rookies in Matthew Butler and Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa. Based on his lack of consistency, the Raiders will likely give the two youngsters every chance to make the final roster. For that reason, Kendal Vickers is shaping up to be the odd man out in the defensive linemen group.
2. Nick Bowers
The Raiders are set at tight end with Darren Waller as the starter and Foster Moreau as the backup. It's more than likely the coaching staff keeps three to four tight ends on the roster. For that reason, Nick Bowers finds himself as a potential cut candidate in Las Vegas. His saving grace is he's entering just the second year of his career, but that might not be enough for him.
Especially considering he's in contention with Jacob Hollister, Jesper Horsted, and rookie Cole Fotheringham. We'll see how it plays out in training camp, but Nick Bowers has an uphill battle ahead. Look for the Raiders to evaluate all four of these tight ends throughout training camp and the preseason.
1. Brandon Bolden RB
The backfield is led by Josh Jacobs who will remain a key factor in the offense. Meanwhile, Drake London is set as the main backup, especially considering his contract with the team. That leaves Brandon Bolden battling it out with rookie Zamir White, giving the Raiders some options in who to play as the third-string running back.
White was a solid running back throughout his collegiate career and considering Las Vegas drafted him in the fourth round, the coaching staff should be keen on keeping him around. That doesn't bode well for Brandon Bolden, who is a true veteran of the sport. Look for the Raiders to choose the younger option in Zamir White over Bolden in training camp.
