Moses Moody had an impressive freshman season for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Moody is a 6'6, smooth-shooting wing with upside as a two-way scorer. He was the 45th ranked player nationally coming out of high school, according to 247 Sports, but he thoroughly outplayed that ranking this season. At Arkansas, Moody averaged 16.8 points per game on 56.8% true shooting while playing good defense and making smart decisions. He has worked himself solidly into top 10 consideration in the NBA draft and will almost certainly be a lottery pick.
The top five picks in the upcoming draft seem pretty set in some order. Cade Cunningham is almost certain to go first, followed by Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs, Jalen Green, and Jonathan Kuminga. That is not the set order they will be drafted in, but that is likely to be the top five. Moody is one of the players that could fit in the six to fourteen range. In that range, there are a lot of teams that could greatly use his services.
Moody has made the decision to enter the draft and that is exciting for not only him and his family, but for NBA teams looking to draft him.

Article Continues BelowMoses Moody is smart, strong, and an excellent spot-up shooter. He likely will not have the latitude to turn into an elite scorer early, but he could still develop into that in the long-term. Golden State could have two chances to draft Moody if the Minnesota Timberwolves pick falls outside of the top four and they could be unwise to pass him up.
Destination 3: Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have a very intriguing guard tandem of De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton. Pairing those two with a two-way wing could make a lot of sense. Moses Moody would fill an immediate whole in Sacramento and it could also be the perfect medium of developmental contexts between Golden State and Oklahoma City.
