The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs have punched their tickets to Super Bowl LIV. While many fans are being forced to choose their preferred victors, Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana is one of the few that finds himself in a win-win situation.

Montana took to Twitter to give his guarantee that his former team will win the Super Bowl:

There is no question that this year's playoffs have panned out quite well for Montana from a fan's perspective. No matter which team emerges victorious, he can still take solace in the fact that one of his teams has managed to add another Super Bowl to their trophy case.

Although Montana may be trying his best to remain neutral, it is safe to assume that there may be some bias that lies with the 49ers. After all, that is where he had enjoyed the bulk of his success after winning four Super Bowls en route to becoming arguably the greatest quarterback of all time.

However, even Montana himself was not immune to the looming changes and he was traded to Kansas City following the emergence of backup quarterback Steve Young. While his arrival may have fallen short of the hype, it was still an ideal place for him to try and end his illustrious career on a high note.

Regardless, Montana still has good reason to root for both the 49ers and Chiefs as it is clear they each still hold a close place in his heart after all these years.
