The players find themselves navigating through uncharted waters while trying to prepare for the 2020 NFL season amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Fortunately, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has managed to spice up the team's Zoom meetings.

According to Keiana Martin of the team's official website, fullback Kyle Juszczyk says Kittle likes to use old photos of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as his background for online meetings:

Kyle Juszczyk revealed George Kittle puts up old photos of Jimmy Garoppolo from middle school or his prom as his Zoom background in team meetings.

Kittle's actions hardly come as any surprise. His close relationship with Garoppolo was well-documented during the 2019 campaign and he has never passed up on the opportunity to offer up some praise for his teammate. It appears his infatuation with him translates off the field as well.

Of course, on the field is where the pair's connection is the strongest. Kittle served as a safety net for Garoppolo in the 49ers' passing game and helped paved the way for an appearance in the Super Bowl. Although they may have come up short, Kittle still finished with 85 receptions for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns en route to Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors for the second year in a row.

There had been plenty of speculation regarding Garropolo's future in San Francisco this offseason after rumors started to swirl about the team's potential interest in former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Kittle did his part to come to bat for his teammate by shooting all of these reports down.

Kittle now needs to ensure that having not one, but two of Garoppolo's faces in team meetings does not become too much of a distraction.
