The Animal Crossing franchise over the years has won the hearts of many with its cute and calming gameplay. We have seen some characters come and go while being introduced to new characters along the way. One of the characters who we didn’t get to see in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the fan-favorite Brewster. Fans were upset about the pigeon not appearing in the game which led to some backlash. However, this is all going to change in the near future because Brewster’s data was found in the most recent datamine (Thanks to Animal Crossing World for the lead). As of the moment, Nintendo is still yet to confirm whether or not Brewster will officially be reappearing in the franchise.

A lot of the Animal Crossing players only found out about the series when ACNH came out. So for those of you who are unfamiliar with who Brewster is, we got you covered.

Brewster is a quiet and reserved pigeon who works in The Roost Cafe. He has a keen interest in coffee and is usually collecting Gyroids for the players. The pigeon is also known to sell a mug of coffee a day to players for 200 bells. Brewster made his first appearance in Animal Crossing: Wild World. We then got to see him in the next two titles namely Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. That's why it's very odd that the cool pigeon didn't make it to ACNH at launch.

Fortunately, Nintendo is still working on numerous free updates for ANCH which only means that the game will further expand. The most recent data mine suggests that the code is directly referencing a museum-built cafe. The only cafe players are aware of is The Roost Cafe. Could we finally get to see Brewster’s return to Animal Crossing? For now, let’s wait for further announcements about the upcoming game updates.
