The Houston Astros sent five players and manager Dusty Baker to the 2022 MLB All-Star game. The stars went to Dodger Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, to engage in the festivities. They received boos from the crowd ahead of the game.

The Astros in attendance got booed during introductions ahead of the game, which the American League won 3-2. Framber Valdez pitched a hitless third inning while Kyle Tucker went 0-2 at the plate. Jose Altuve, Justin Verlander and Yordan Alvarez all did not participate in the midsummer classic.

Valdez, the game's winning pitcher, said after the game that he won't be losing any sleep over the boos.

The Astros are no stranger to boos following the unveiling of their illegal sign-stealing operation. The boos in Dodger Stadium were extra angry, though, since the Astros defeated the Dodgers in the 2017 World Series. New York Yankees star Aaron Judge put the rivalry with the Astros aside to praise Baker and explain how big of a fan he is of the veteran manager. The baseball world will still hold the cheating scandal over the heads of the Astros for as long as the current core is together.

The All-Star Game Crowd, which consisted mostly of Dodgers fans, also booed Manny Machado, who spurned LA to join the San Diego Padres after the 2018 season. His teammates, along with Carlos Rodon from the archrival San Francisco Giants, also received boos. The lone Giants player that got mostly cheers was Joc Pederson, who spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Dodgers.
