The Houston Astros defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2022 World Series and proceeded to celebrate like absolute champions. As all World Series winners do, the Astros went berserk in the clubhouse after the win, popping bottles of champagne in the locker room and going absolutely nuts after becoming champs. It seems that the Astros had quite an expensive celebration following their win in Game 6. According to TMZ, the Astros popped bottles of rapper 50 Cent's Le Chemin Du Roi Brut champagne and ran up a tab worth $400,000 in the process.

TMZ reports that the Astros celebrated with 250 bottles of 50 Cent's champagne, which sells for around $150 per bottle. Additionally, the club had 10 Magnum bottles of bubbly (1.5 liters) as well as a massive 15-liter bottle. In total the team spent a whopping $388,000 on their World Series celebrations.

The Astros defeated the Phillies in six games at the 2022 Fall Classic, giving the franchise its second-ever World Series championship, and its second since 2017.

It sure sounds like the Astros enjoyed themselves after becoming world champions once again. Lance McCullers could be seen in a video clip delivering an epic speech to his teammates before capping off by popping open one of the bottles of Le Chemin Du Roi Brut and going ballistic with his cohorts.

The Astros are set for their championship parade around Houston on Monday, so the weekend's festivities will be carrying straight over into the new week. While some teams will be getting their free agency plans sorted out, the Astros will be partying across Houston as they celebrate the World Series win.
