Austin Vanderford challenged Gegard Mousasi for the Bellator MMA middleweight title at Bellator 275 on Friday. He suffered a very quick TKO loss after taking some punches and having his takedown defended. It looked like he had suffered some sort of injury to his shoulder.
Gegard Mousasi looked excellent and many people online praised ‘The Moose' for his impressive finish of the undefeated MMA prospect. Austin Vanderford took to Instagram to address the loss and speak out after Bellator 275.

Austin Vanderford was previously undefeated in MMA and many expected his grappling to be a difference-maker in Ireland. It wasn't so as Gegard Mousasi proved that his experience and killer instinct was as sharp as ever.
It will be interesting to see where Austin Vanderford goes from here as he looks to bounce back and get his MMA career back on track. Bellator will have plenty of fun options next as there is plenty of talent in the division.
