LeBron James has been in the headlines since his days in high school. The spotlight shines on him nearly 24/7, and sometimes, Twitter doesn't do him any favors. In fact, The Los Angeles Lakers superstar player caught criticism recently after tweeting a post, threatening a police officer who shot and killed a 16-year old girl in Ohio. The tweet was later deleted.

Even though the tweet has been removed, it had been seen by the public long enough for James to catch some heat. LeBron has been at the forefront of offering his political opinions over recent years, but his controversial statement has backfired. According to MSN, a bar-owner in Cincinnati, Ohio has taken it upon himself to not air NBA games until LeBron James is removed from the league.

“If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don't come to Linnie's Pub,” Jay Linneman, owner of Cincinnati's Linne's Pub, wrote on Facebook in regard to the recent controversy surrounding the  Lakers star. “We will not air them until Lebron James has been expelled from the NBA.”

When the incident in Ohio was first reported, many believed the Police Officer had wrongly shot the 16-year old girl. After the bodycam footage was released, it turned out Ma'Khia Bryant was attempting to stab someone when Police arrived on the scene.

LeBron's original reaction was based on the first reports of the incident. However, delivering a threatening message is never the right answer. James later attempted to clarify his tweet with another message.

LeBron James has a point, but this bar owner's absurd comments about the King being expelled from the NBA will never happen. Sorry, buddy.
