Both the Los Angeles Lakers and the L.A. Clippers are gearing up for a big summer of 2019 in their own ways.
The Laker finally hired a head coach in Frank Vogel with assistant coach Jason Kidd. They also jumped up seven spots in the NBA Draft. They now hold the fourth overall pick in the 2019 Draft.
The Clippers, meanwhile, made a draft night move without even being named, re-signing free agent front office consultant Jerry West and keeping their front office intact for the big summer.
