Brian Urlacher is one of the best defensive players in Chicago Bears history, and even he is impressed with what Khalil Mack has shown in his first two games with the team.

Urlacher received his Hall of Fame ring during halftime of the Bears Monday night football game, and if Mack can keep up his play maybe one day, he will be having the same type of ceremony.

Urlacher was asked about his impressions on Mack, and his first question was how exactly did the Oakland Raiders give up on him.

“He’s a bad dude, man,” Urlacher said via The Chicago Sun Times. “I don’t understand how you give up a guy who’s that good. I’m still baffled that we got him. I’m glad that [General Manager Ryan Pace] made it happen and he’s a great addition to our team. He fits in perfectly with our history here.”

Mack and the Seahawks defense sacked Russell Wilson six times on Monday night and even when they weren't sacking him he had zero time in the pocket. Linebacker Danny Trevathan who had a strip sack said this is just the beginning of what this defense can accomplish.

“That’s just a glimpse, man,” said Trevathan, who led the Bears. “We’re just getting started. We finally put together four quarters, although we could’ve done things a lot better. I know that’s how our defense feels because we’re always trying to get better. But it was a start, and we’re feeling good. We’re going to keep it rolling for sure”

It's still early in the season, but it looks like this defense could be as good or better than what Urlacher had during his days in Chicago.
