Tarik Cohen isn't playing in his team's preseason finale on Thursday night. Despite sitting out the Chicago Bears' game against the Indianapolis Colts, though, the dynamic playmaker showed off his unique athleticism during pre-game warmups, catching a pass while performing a backflip.

This is even more impressive than it appears on first glance. Pausing the video right as the ball reaches Cohen's hands shows that he corrals it despite having his back perfectly parallel to the field, gazing up at the sky. He didn't just catch the ball while doing a backflip; he did it without even being able to see the ball come into view.

Wow.

Not that this feat of athleticism and hand-eye coordination is especially surprising coming from a player of Cohen's caliber, though. A surprise standout as a rookie, he took his game to another level under first-year coach Matt Nagy last season, taking advantage of his multi-faceted skill set to wreak havoc on opposing defenses from all over the field. Cohen rushed 99 times for 444 yards and caught 71 passes for 725 yards in 2018, totaling eight touchdowns. Making his season even more impressive? The former fourth-round pick made the Pro Bowl as a punt returner.

Expect Cohen to have an even bigger year in 2019.
