For Buffalo Bills center Mitch Morse, the fact that their offensive line remains unchanged for two consecutive seasons is something ‘unprecedented' and something they should take advantage of.

The Bills recently re-signed offensive lineman Quinton Spain. This means that in the coming season, all five starters of the offensive line will remain. From left to right, they are Dion Dawkins, Spain, Mitch Morse, Jon Feliciano, and Cody Ford. Given how rare of an occurrence this is the modern NFL, Morse feels lucky that the team is still intact.

“I think it’s unprecedented to have an offensive line staying the same completely for two consecutive seasons, at least on paper,” Morse said, per the Buffalo News as transcribed by Nick Wojton of USA Today.

However, Morse acknowledges that they still need to get some work done to be able to take advantage of this chemistry.

“At the same time, you’ve got to put in that work,” Morse said. “So we’ve just got to go in there and attack the days and attack the weeks and push each other to get better.”

Putting in the work is the most imperative thing for the Bills. After all, they aren't exactly that great. Their offensive line ranked 21st last season according to Pro Football Focus.

Be as it may, the team's chemistry will be their main asset moving forward. Not all teams are fortunate enough to have this opportunity. While there's a lot of work to be done, the Bills aren't starting on an empty slate.
