Aside from being a great basketball player, Damian Lillard is a passionate rapper. Since he wasn't going to play in the All-Star Game, he decided to up his performance during the All-Star Weekend with a tribute to Kobe Bryant.

The player who is also known as Dame D.O.L.L.A. rapped his rhymes during an intermission of the All-Star Weekend festivities. As he was dropping his bars, fans noticed that the jacket he was wearing was paying tribute to Kobe Bryant.

NBA on TNT shared the video of the performance, and the words “Mamba Forever” were visible on Damian Lillard's back.

This year's iteration of the All-Star Weekend, which Damian Lillard was a part of, is not only a celebration of the best basketball players in the world, but it is also a commemoration to the life Bryant led on and off the court. He was a consummate competitor, and his influence can be found on many of the league's stars today.

Damian Lillard himself got in touch with Kobe a lot of times during the early years of his career, so the untimely passing of the future Hall of Famer was a shock that he didn't take kindly to. ClutchPoints' Riana Mercado recalled the impact the tragedy had on him and the world of basketball as a whole.
