Portland Trail Blazers center Enes Kanter seems to be having a lot of fun with his new team. After being waived by the New York Knicks a couple of months ago, the Oregon-based franchise signed him for the remainder of the season, and he quickly became an integral part of the team's rotation.

Apparently, the Turkish big man is someone who has a good memory. Shortly after the Blazers' series-clinching victory in Game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kanter posted this on Twitter:

This appears to be a shot at Thunder coach Billy Donovan, who was caught on camera saying “can't play Kanter” two years ago when Enes Kanter was playing for OKC that time:

Just like the old adage says, one man's garbage could be another one's treasure.

That's exactly the situation that Kanter's in at the moment. He's getting enough opportunities with the Blazers, and he's making the most out of them. In five games against the Thunder, he averaged 13.2 points and 10.2 rebounds, and while Kanter still struggles on the defensive end, there's no denying the fact that he can be productive when he wants to.

Kanter and the Blazers have now advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Denver Nuggets-San Antonio Spurs series.

Whichever team Portland faces in the second round will surely provide more challenges to Kanter. Not only will he go up against either Nuggets star Nikola Jokic or Spurs star LaMarcus Aldridge in the post, but he will have to be more active on defense, as a lot of players from both teams can penetrate and score near the basket.

Enes Kanter has proven himself to his former coach. Now it's time for him to prove himself to the rest of the competition.
