Now, he's officially been ruled out for tonight's game against the Houston Rockets.

Earlier in the day, head coach Rick Carlisle gave him time to rest and said he expected Nowitzki to play tonight.
He’s at home. He’s sick. We’re hoping he’s going to be OK to play tonight. We think he’s going to be OK. But that’s where he is today. I think it’s a stomach thing.
The Mavs will have their hands full trying to stop James Harden, and that's just gotten a little tougher with Dirk out of the lineup.
His minutes will be distributed to Dwight Powell and Quincy Acy.
