In Justin Simmons' opinion, Kareem Jackson has a style of play which is similar to Chris Harris Jr.'s.
Simmons, the Denver Broncos safety, sang Jackson's praises to 247Sports.com's Zack Kelberman last week.
Kareem has been great. I'm really excited about Kareem, too. He brings versatility in the back end. Safety, nickel, corner, wherever you need to put him is where he'll go.
A lot of experience. Very similar to a guy like [CB] Chris [Harris, Jr.]. I'm excited. It's been a super easy transition back there.
We've had some reps back there at safety. Communication has been solid. Like I said, there is always stuff that you can continue to work on and get better at, especially with a new defensive system.

Simmons also marveled at Jackson's football knowledge. He told Kelberman that Kareem Jackson “can see route combinations develop before they happen.” Jackson anticipates plays better than most NFL cornerbacks.
The Broncos signed the 31-year-old Jackson to a three-year, $33 million deal on March 13. According to ESPN's Jeff Legwold, Jackson and fellow cornerback Bryce Callahan fit new head coach Vic Fangio's system perfectly. They're two defensive backs who excel at tackling.
Kelberman predicts the Broncos' secondary will become one of the NFL's best when Harris returns from his holdout. Chris Harris wants a deal which pays him $15 million annually. If Denver fails to meet Harris' demands, he wants a trade.

The bigger question looms: Will Chris Harris, Jr. return to the Broncos in the 2019 NFL season? If not, expect Jackson and Callahan to become Denver's starting cornerbacks.
With Jackson around, they have a player with Chris Harris-like abilities, anyway. Just ask Justin Simmons.
