Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch might look like a sky pirate, but he's now the starter for the famed National Football League franchise. With that being so, repercussions are now being had with the depth chart.

Despite looking like a Twilight actor, as well as the last starting at QB for Denver, Brock Osweiler's stock is sinking. In something everyone who has watched him throw a football the last two seasons saw coming, Brock has been awful and is now relegated as Lynch's backup's backup.

More simply put: He's third-string.

This obviously moves turnover prone Trevor Siemian to the backup position. Unlike Big Bad Brock and Lynch, he doesn't look like a sky pirate or a vampire from a romantic comedy disguised as a horror/action hybrid. If anything, and this is a bit of a stretch, he looks like an accountant. Not the kind who works at Liberty Tax, though. More like the one who is good at cooking the books.

Anyway, Siemian and Big Bad Brock have been objective failures for the Broncos this season. While few national observers have confidence in Paxton Lynch, Denver did have high expectations for him when he was coming out of Memphis.

With the defense apparently aging, and with an inept passing game, it will be interesting to see how offensive play calling is designed for a gunslinger with such little in-game experience. Nevertheless, Denver should find out if it has the QB of the future in Lynch or if the franchise might need to shop for a new signal-caller come the offseason.
