The Brooklyn Nets are beginning a full rebuild. They traded Thaddeus Young to the Indiana Pacers to make it clear to everyone that they are trying to get younger. Now, they are trying to do the same thing with Jarrett Jack.

Jack is coming off of a torn ACL. He was only able to play 1 game in the new year before he was shut down for the rest of the season. With that previous injury, it might be tougher for the Nets to move Jarrett Jack, but it seems that even if they can't trade him, he won't be in Brooklyn next year.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski:

The deadline is tomorrow for the Nets to decide if they want to buyout Jack to be able to save the $6M in cap as noted above. As mentioned, it might be tougher for the Nets to get anything valuable in return for him because of the past injury.

Jack, the 32 year-old veteran, could be a nice addition for a contender who is looking for a veteran presence at the point guard spot off the bench.
