The NFL dead period is officially winding down. The league released its schedule in full Wednesday night, giving football junkies something to tide us over as we await the start of the draft. In addition to the schedule, we now have betting odds for each of the Week 1 games.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the Cleveland Browns right now, and oddsmakers are feeling that buzz too. Cleveland has opened as a 4.5 point favorite over the Titans in Week 1, courtesy of our friends over at BetOnline.ag.

After making several splashy moves, like the trades for Odell Beckham Jr. and Olivier Vernon, there's a ton of optimism surrounding the Browns. There hasn't been this much positivity surrounding a Browns team in a very long time. Baker Mayfield and the offense were excellent down the stretch last season, and there are plenty of reasons to believe they'll be able to carry it over into 2019.

The Titans overall had a reasonably successful year last season. In Mike Vrabel's first year as coach, the team went 9-7. They likely would've made the playoffs had injuries not forced Marcus Mariota to miss a few starts, including the most crucial game of the season in Week 17.

Mariota has been banged up a lot in his young career, and Tennessee recently traded for Ryan Tannehill as insurance. The Titans will be looking to spoil all the hype surrounding the Browns, but they'll be significant underdogs here as they try to do it.

So, what about you? Will you be laying the 4.5 points with the Browns here, or taking the points with the underdog?
