Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson addressed the media on Tuesday for the first time since his March 25 introductory press conference. While fielding questions from reporters, Watson, obviously, was asked about the multitude of ongoing sexual misconduct cases he's facing. The Browns quarterback broke his silence on the latest allegations, maintaining his stance that he's innocent and has never sexually assaulted anyone, via Albert Breer.

Watson was asked why the public should believe him over the voices of 26 different women, all of whom have made damning allegations against the Browns quarterback, to which he replied:

“I understand that question and definitely respect it. I've been honest and truthful with my stance. I never forced anyone, I never assaulted anyone.”

There are currently 24 lawsuits hanging over Watson, and reports indicate that two more are on the way, bringing the total count up to 26. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, the Browns traded a trove of draft capital to the Texans and signed Watson to a massive $230 million contract. Throughout it all, Watson has maintained his innocence and continued to declare that he's never assaulted any women, though the number of lawsuits continues to increase.

This was reporters' first chance to speak with Watson since he was introduced by the Browns back in March. The NFL is still making its own investigation into the Watson scandal, and the decision from the league regarding a potential suspension was expected to be made soon. While his future in the league is uncertain, Watson is going about his routine as if it's business as usual and continues to stick to his guns regarding the ongoing allegations.
