Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky considers the Cleveland Browns Super Bowl contenders in 2019.

Orlovsky made his sentiments known during the March 13 edition of ESPN's “Get Up” (via 247Sports.com's Josh Edwards).

There's no doubt about it. No doubt about it. First of all, not a very flawed football team anymore. They don't have many holes.

You talk about (the) New England (Patriots), Kansas City (Chiefs), and the Browns right now in third place.

So, they've got Baker Mayfield, right? Now, Odell Beckham (Jr.), Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, (David) Njoku, (Nick) Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Duke Johnson…those are a lot of whos. NFL defensive coordinators will go, ‘How do we stop this team?'

It's a locker room that's going to be fun, exciting…they built up their defensive line this offseason as well. You don't have many holes in Cleveland.

Orlovsky makes a valid point. This Cleveland Browns team is loaded. It's a far cry from the “Mistake by the Lake” or “Cleveland Clowns” teams of the past.

The Browns, who have struggled with their quarterback situation for years, now have their franchise signal caller in Baker Mayfield. They also acquired star wideout Odell Beckham, Jr. and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson last month.

Plus, the Browns expect Ohio native and running back Kareem Hunt to resuscitate his NFL career in Cleveland.

The Browns finished with a 7-8-1 record in 2018. The team won a combined four games in the three previous seasons. Now, the team is not only seeking its first postseason berth in 17 years, but also its first Super Bowl title.
