The Cleveland Browns suffered their latest setback on Monday night, falling to the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 31-3.

Afterward, Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. said that the 49ers dominated in every facet.

“They beat us in every phase of the game. They just did everything,” said Beckham, according to Ann Killion of The San Francisco Chronicle.

Beckham logged just two catches for 20 yards in the loss as Cleveland mustered just 180 yards of total offense as a team.

Through five games in his first season with the Browns, Beckham has caught 23 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown. He has been held to two catches in each of the last two weeks.

Beckham, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the New York Giants with the 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He went on to make the Pro Bowl in each of his first three years with the Giants, as he immediately stamped his name among the best wide outs in football.

However, it did not take Beckham long to wear out his welcome, as his constant chirping through the media and questionable off-the-field behavior ultimately resulted in New York trading him to the Browns back in March, not even one year after the Giants signed him to a six-year contract extension.

Cleveland fell to 2-3 with its loss to San Francisco and will now head back home to play host to the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday before entering its bye week. The Browns will then have to head to Foxborough to battle the New England Patriots.
