Ben Simmons is expected to change the culture of Philadelphia basketball. The talent and skills that he possesses should enable the 76ers to be a much better team this year. The 76ers are still a much better team as a whole, but Ben Simmons is the main player that will be leading the way.

Bryan Colangelo, the general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers, went on the Vertical podcast Adrian Wojnarowski to discuss his team and his new star.

Colangelo had such high praise for Simmons and even went as far as to say that he had the intangibles to become a Hall of Famer:

“All those things that got us excited about him about a possible No. 1 selection, it’s all coming to fruition, and hopefully over the next five to 10 years, we’ll all be part of that same growth of him becoming a great basketball player, and becoming a Hall of Fame type of player. Does he have it in him? I think he does. Does he have some work to do? Absolutely.”

As a 76ers fan, that's exactly what you want to hear from your general manager. Bryan Colangelo is ready to see Ben Simmons become the player we all believe he can become and so is the city of Philadelphia.
