The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not a very good football team, so they surely hoped that the NFL would do them some favors with their schedule heading into 2019.

No such thing occurred.

As a matter of fact, the Buccaneers will have one of the toughest stretches in the league early on in the season, as Tampa Bay will not play a single game at home in the month of October, as Steven Ruiz of USA Today Sports points out.

And if you want to take it a step further, the Bucs' road stretch actually begins on Sept. 29 and goes into early November.

It's not like the Buccaneers have any easy opponents during that span, either.

They will begin on the road against the defending NFC-champion Los Angeles Rams in late September, followed by an away battle with the New Orleans Saints (you know, the NFC runner-up) during the first week of October.

Oh! The NFL schedule shows Tampa Bay hosting the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 13, so obviously, that's a home game, right? Wrong. That matchup is actually in London, so the Bucs will actually not play a home game against their division rival Panthers all season, which is horrendous.

The Buccaneers then have a bye week, but afterward, they have to deal with a very tough Tennessee Titans club on the road on Oct. 27. Finally, their stretch from hell ends with a trip to the Pacific Northwest where they will be taking on the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 3.

My goodness. What did the Bucs do to deserve this?
