The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a massive splash this offseason when they signed veteran superstar quarterback Tom Brady out of free agency.

Brady had spent the first 20 years of his career with the New England Patriots and most people thought that would be the only team for which he ever played.

The Buccaneers have become one of the heavy favorites to win the Super Bowl. That does not mean everything is perfect and will come easy for them in 2019, though.

According to Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk, Brady spoke on overcoming specific challenges this offseason.

“The only thing you can do is adjust to the situation and adapt the best way you can,” Brady said. “Put as much time and energy now as we can into it. I think the reality is that the clock is ticking on everybody. We’re gonna have to work as hard as we can and not waste any minutes of any day trying to get used to each other — embrace the challenge and see what we can become.”

There are definitely some challenges for Brady this year. Of course, he is going to be giving himself some tough obstacles.

There is a lot of pressure on Brady and the rest of the team to produce in 2020. Everyone seems to have them as one of the Super Bowl favorites. So if they fall short, it will look like a serious failure. Plus, the league is in near disarray with COVID-19 letting players opt out and canceling preseason games.

It's all about adjusting to the situation. Adjusting and adapting. Tom Brady knows that he is close to the end of his career, and that the narrative on him has changed a bit. He also knows that people still expect greatness.

And he looks prepared to face any and all obstacles head on.
