Eric Bledsoe no longer plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, as he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in the Jrue Holiday deal, bringing the All-NBA defender to Cream City next to two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

However, just because Bledsoe is on the Pelicans now, doesn't mean Antetokounmpo is going to forget his birthday. After all, the two were teammates for two and a half years on the Bucks, where they built a relationship bigger than basketball.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks, Eric Bledsoe

The Bucks acquired Eric Bledsoe from the Phoenix Suns during the 2017-18 season. The franchise was hoping he would be the missing piece to a championship run. However, the explosive guard always struggled in the playoffs next to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

Milwaukee's front office simply couldn't pass up the chance to acquire Jrue Holiday, one of the best two-way players in the NBA and a guy who doesn't come up short in the postseason.

Bledsoe, 31, finished his Bucks career with averages of 16.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game while shooting 47.9 percent from the field, 34.0 percent from beyond the arc and 78.0 percent from the free-throw line. The Pelicans are hoping that the Birmingham, Alabama native will boost their backcourt, which already has the young and talented Lonzo Ball.

Holiday, who put up 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game for the Pelicans last season, is a huge addition for the Bucks, who are still waiting to see if Antetokounmpo will sign a supermax extension.
