Giannis Antetokounmpo is not underestimating Trae Young, not one bit. After all, the Milwaukee Bucks star have seen how the Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter punished the Philadelphia 76ers on their way to the East Finals.

Ahead of the Bucks-Hawks conference finals series, Antetokounmpo spoke about Young and how he has proven himself as a legitimate superstar who shines in the biggest of moments. The Greek Freak is also in awe of what the third-year guard can do despite being 6-foot-1 and not being the most athletic or strongest player–clearly his exact opposite.

“He is an amazing player. What he can do for his size… it's unbelievable. What he’s done in a 3-year span is unbelievable. He's got to keep getting better, keep believing in himself and the sky is the limit for him,” Antetokounmpo shared, per Malika Andrews of ESPN.

Trae Young has indeed taken his game to another level in the 2021 playoffs, and the confidence and swagger he shows in every game show how he has evolved. It also rubbed onto the whole Hawks, who follow their young leader.

Sure enough, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks will be wary of Trae's threat when they start their series on Wednesday. Both teams came off from a grueling Game 7 series, but it only gave them the perfect preparation for what should be another epic playoffs showdown of different philosophies.
