Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks have been best friends for quite some time.
Giannis attributes a lot of his success to Middleton because when Giannis was a rookie, Middleton was the one Gianis was competing for minutes against.
Their friendship got even stronger this past summer as the duo was finally able to walk away with an NBA championship with the Bucks.
Giannis was able to do a photoshoot with GQ as the Athlete of the Year. He posed in some photos and Khris Middleton had a hilarious reaction to the photos.
Eric Nehm, Milwaukee Bucks beat reporter for The Athletic, said Middleton had this to say,
“I gave him a little crap about that. I like it. It's cool, stepping out of his box. I told him he might be the ugliest model there is so far. Kidding, of course. I'm happy for him. It's awesome.”
It's all jokes between the two Milwaukee Bucks Stars. Khris Middleton is expected back on Wednesday after testing positive for COVID-19. He will play for the Bucks against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Bucks have struggled this season but it's mostly due to injuries throughout the whole roster. When Milwaukee is fully back and healthy, they should once again be competing for an NBA title. Giannis and Middleton have evolved into one of the best duos in the NBA and it's going to be exciting to watch these two get back to work soon.
