The Milwaukee Bucks are just 5-5 in their last 10 games. Head coach Mike Budenholzer says his guys “understand” they have to play better to close out the season with the postseason right around the corner.

The Bucks have the best record in the NBA and have already clinched a playoff spot. However, everyone knows teams prefer to be playing their best basketball of the season going into the playoffs so they can ride that momentum toward a championship.

Budenholzer wants to see his group play in a more balanced way.

“There’s sometimes a challenge, but I think most teams understand you want to be playing going into the playoffs, you want to be sharp, you want to be in a good rhythm and things like that, you need to keep a focus, you need to keep an urgency,” Budenholzer said, via Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“I’m not saying we’ve been great; I think we can be better going down these last 10, 12 games whatever it is. I think the guys understand that.”

The Bucks have the front-runner for the MVP award, superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak didn't play on Wednesday against the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee lost. It was a bad loss considering Milwaukee still has a lot of talent on its roster besides Giannis.

The Bucks will try to get back in the win column on Friday against the Miami Heat.
