The Milwaukee Bucks are tied 1-1 in their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against Boston Celtics. Ahead of Game 3, the team released the latest injury update on George Hill. The point guard is now listed as “probable” for the 3:30 afternoon game in Milwaukee.

Celtics reporter Keith Smith tweeted the news Saturday morning, less than five hours before tip-off.

This is great news for the Bucks, a team coming off of a tough loss in Game 2. Despite being a bench piece, Hill was still a solid contributor to the Bucks' success this season. He averaged 6.2 points, 2.2 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in the regular season.

Hill has yet to make his 2022 NBA Playoffs debut. He's been dealing with a strained right abdominal and hasn't played since the Bucks' second to last regular-season game on April 8.

If available, Hill will likely reenter his position as the main substitution for starting point guard Jrue Holiday. At 36-years-old, the veteran has a lot of experience in the league and is a very reliable player off the bench.

Needless to say, at this point in the playoffs, every team is dealing with injuries to some degree. The Bucks are also beat up, dealing with a newfound injury within their starting five. Like Hill, Marcus Smart is now listed as “probable” for Game 3. The DPOY suffered a thigh injury that kept him out of Game 2.
