Roughly two weeks after saying that the Boston Celtics would beat the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semi-finals, former NBA player Paul Pierce seems to have a change of heart in terms of the team that he's going to support in these playoffs. Of course, he can no longer root for his former team, the Celtics, as they have been dismantled by the Bucks in the second round of the playoffs. Instead, The Truth is now cheering Milwaukee to beat the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

The Bucks have already won Game 1 of the series and are leading 70-49 early in the third quarter of Game 2. Milwaukee owns the best record in the league and homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, and with perennial MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way, it's hard not to root for them, especially since they're up against a Raptors team that has been inconsistent throughout the postseason.

But hey, maybe Pierce is hoping that by saying that the Bucks got this series, they will eventually lose to the Raptors. After all, Milwaukee is the team that took out his Celtics in the playoffs.

Nevertheless, the Bucks have done a great job in these playoffs, and it looks like they're on their way to building a commanding 2-0 lead.

If that happens, they will be two wins away from advancing to the NBA Finals, something that the franchise hasn't done since 1971.

The year that they've also won the championship.
