The beef between Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant and actor Michael Rapaport is the gift that keeps on giving. Now that the controversy continues to unfold, more and more people are giving their own take on the issue and that includes Milwaukee Bucks vet PJ Tucker.
On Thursday, the TMZ crew caught in with PJ Tucker in Beverly Hills and asked him about what he thinks of the whole issue between Durant and Rapaport. His answer was pretty straightforward.
“Of course not, he did nothing wrong,” PJ Tucker said in response to whether or not the league should suspend Durant for the incident.
Suspending the former MVP for his conduct would indeed be a reach so I'm definitely on Tucker's side on this one. Consider what PJ Tucker said and then reassess the situation: The thing is, Durant did dish out some choice words which has put the Nets All-Star in hot waters. Durant did issue a public apology saying that he is indeed sorry that people heard or saw the specific words he used towards Rapaport. This is a good lesson for everyone to watch what you type because nothing is really safe in this internet-driven world.
Brooklyn head coach Steve Nash also mentioned that they are discussing things with KD internally and that they're hoping to keep all these conversations in-house. Just like what the DMs between KD and Rapaport should've been, IMHO. According to the same TMZ report, the NBA has yet to officially comment on the incident as of writing. This beef needs to be squashed ASAP so we can all continue to talk about basketball. PJ Tucker would agree on this point.
