The Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors played a Game 6 that ended up being a blowout in favor of Philly. This buys the Milwaukee Bucks more time.

Though some odd events occurred near the end of the game (including Raptors head coach Nick Nurse taking too long to substitute his starters), the Sixers were pretty much in control of this one from start to finish.

The 76ers were buoyed by a record-setting game from Joel Embiid, who produced a career-high +40 rating – showcasing the incredible impact he has on the outcome of any game he’s a part of, even if he’s not particularly playing his best ball.

Because the Sixers forced a Game 7, the Milwaukee Bucks will get to wait until the middle of next week in order to start the Eastern Conference Finals. They won't have to jump into the series on Sunday. Toronto and Philadelphia will play on Mother's Day.

The Bucks eagerly await the winner of the decisive game of 76ers-Raptors, and this means that Milwaukee will have ample rest after it finished off the Boston Celtics in Game 5 on Wednesday night. With upwards of five days of rest under their belt, will the Bucks experience any “rest vs. rust” issues in Game 1 of the East Finals?

Perhaps not. This team is strongly put together around likely MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks have yet to be tested in these playoffs by a legitimate threat (having dispatched the eighth-seeded Detroit Pistons and fifth-seeded Boston Celtics in back-to-back series).

Game 7 between the Sixers and Raptors will be Sunday at 7 p.m. Eastern time.
