It has reached the point where it seems that Mike Budnholzer can pick his job, either the Toronto Raptors or the Milwaukee Bucks, and he just has to decide exactly which one he wants.

Marc Stein of The New York Times hit on the topic in his weekly article where he answers readers' questions. The question posed to Stein was who he thought would make the best coaching choice for the Bucks.

The question Don is really asking is: Who will win the Mike Budenholzer sweepstakes?

Milwaukee is believed to be the job Budenholzer wants most, but let's see. After multiple meetings with both the Bucks and the Raptors, Budenholzer could well have preferences that outsiders aren't privy to at this point.

Stein also raised the point that Budenholzer and Giannis Antentokounmpo might actually not be the best fit for each other.

Getting this hire right is critical for Milwaukee, because the Bucks have to start winning in the playpffs to ensure that The Greek Freak — for as much as he openly loves Milwaukee — has reason to keep loving it. It's also fair to wonder how Budenholzer's system reputation would mesh with Antetokounmpo's improvisational nature.

Budenholzer has been known to run a pretty strict offensive system that doesn't really allow a lot of room for creativity. For the Greek Freak, he has been used to playing a more free-flowing offensive system that really allowed for him to create his own offense.

The former Atlanta Hawks coach should make his decision in the next few days, but for now it seems that the Bucks are in a slight lead.
