According to the latest rumor surrounding the Milwaukee Bucks, the team could look to acquire Robert Covington or J.J. Redick via trade.

Zach Lowe, speaking on the Woj & Lowe Trade Deadline Special, believes that the Bucks are looking at the two players and are willing to go above the luxury tax.

Covington currently plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves where averages 12.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.4 steals across 28.1 minutes per game. A member of the 2018 NBA All-Defensive First Team, Covington's defensive abilities are his main assets. And the Bucks, who are intent on snagging that title, know for certain that defense wins championships. Adding Covington to the roster will bring them one step closer to that goal.

Redick, for his part, currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. At 35-years-old, Redick is still proving that he's got a ton left in the tank. For the season, he's averaging 15.8 points per game which includes 3.2 3-pointers a night on an impressive 45.3 percent clip. Placing Redick alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo will only create nightmares for the opposing defense. Since running single coverage on Antetokounmpo is as foolish as rotating off of Redick.

If these rumors turn out to be true, then the Bucks' chances at winning that Larry O'Brien trophy could reach an all-time high.
