The Georgia Bulldogs have made a significant leap up the Class of 2023 recruitment rankings. Having previously been on the edge of the top 10 in terms of the strength of their 2023 recruitment class, the Bulldogs saw themselves shoot all the way up to No. 7 in the nation in the latest rankings update. 247Sports recently had Georgia ranked as the No. 10 recruiting class in the country, but Kirby Smart and Co. were able to add some more talent and further improve the team.

This comes on the heels of Georgia's acquisition of four star-linebacker Raylen Wilson, who committed to the program on July 10. The Bulldogs have also seen recent commitments from fellow four-star talents such as cornerback Daniel Harris and linebacker CJ Allen.

In all, Georgia's Class of 2023 boasts one five-star recruit, as well as nine four-stars, and a trio of three-stars, too. The lone five-star recruit, AJ Harris, is considered the No. 25 player in the nation, per 247Sports, and the No. 6 cornerback.

While Georgia continues to climb the ranks, Notre Dame's recruiting class remains the most highly ranked by 247Sports. Notre Dame has only one five-star recruit, much like Georgia, but the program has also received a commitment from as many as 16 four-star talents.

Georgia's push to the No. 7 ranked class makes them the second-best in the SEC, trailing only Tennessee's Class of 2023 which consists of two five-stars and six four-stars, as well as nine three-star talents. Georgia's latest move up the board saw them jump Arkansas, who is now No. 8, and puts them even farther ahead of Alabama, whose recruitment class ranks 18th.
