All signs point toward Tomas Satoransky landing the Chicago Bulls' starting point guard job over Kris Dunn, according to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago.

Bulls head coach Jim Boylen said after the Bulls' preseason loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday he would announce his starting point guard soon.

Dunn started the first exhibition game against the Milwaukee Bucks, and while he played solid, Satoransky was more productive with the starters on Wednesday.

All signs continue to point to Tomas Satoransky landing the job. Not only did the Bulls shop Kris Dunn after acquiring Satoransky from the Wizards for three years and $30 million in a sign-and-trade transaction, but Satoransky led an energized offensive effort in Wednesday’s loss to the Pelicans.

“I think the ball was popping,” Boylen said of Satoransky’s effect with the starters. “Our .5 (making a decision in 0.5 seconds) was good. Our spacing was good. We had four turnovers in our first six possessions so we watched those (on film). But we settled down and started playing really good basketball.”

Tomas Satoransky averaged 8.9 points and 5.0 assists last season with the Washington Wizards. He shot 48.5 percent overall and 39.5 percent from the 3-point line.

In 20 minutes against the Pelicans, Satoransky put up 11 points, five rebounds and eight assists.
