After some stars' ratings were teased and released by 2k Sports for their upcoming basketball simulation NBA 2k22, Chicago Bulls' DeMar DeRozan's rating was tweeted by a user named RaptorsHarris saying DeRozan has a 90 overall rating.
However, 2K Games digital marketing director Ronnie “Ronnie2K” Singh clapped back and dismissed the said rating. Ronnie says it is absolutely fake and tags the Bulls' star saying if he wanted his rating to be known, DeRozan just needs to hit him up.
This is not accurate. Carry on. If DeMar asks for his rating, he will get it @DeMar_DeRozan

Ronnie further added that all 2k22 ratings released online are fake unless posted by himself or the official NBA 2k22 social media account.
Don’t let fake screens fool you. You’re better than that. Unless you hear about it from myself or @NBA2K for next couple weeks, it’s likely fake.
DeMar is not a 90. That screen is fake.
Happy Sunday!

The newly acquired Bulls star's rating has seemingly dipped in the last few versions of the game after achieving his highest 2k rating of 89 during the release of NBA2k19.
DeRozan finished last year's rendition of the game with an 87 overall rating for the Spurs after averaging 21.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists.
After his stats dropped from two seasons ago, it's certainly unbelievable that DeRozan will get a 90 overall. We are yet to see what is 2k rating really is as DeRozan has not responded to Ronnie's tweet.
The Bulls' guard will likely play with a chip on his shoulder as he looks to help Chicago soar to greater heights by qualifying for the NBA Playoffs next season. DeRozan might be the missing piece that they need after missing the playoffs in the last four years.
