Atlanta Hawks small forward Jabari Parker says new Chicago Bulls guard Tomas Satoransky is “very underrated.”

Parker and Satoransky were teammates last season on the Washington Wizards. Parker, who split time with the Bulls and Wizards in 2018-19, says Bulls fans are going to love Satoransky.

“He’s very underrated,” Parker told K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune. “He has size and athleticism. He’s only 27. He has a great basketball IQ. He’s a double-double machine. He can get to most any spot on the floor. He’s aggressive.

“And he can jump. People don’t understand how high he can get.”

Tomas Satoransky signed a three-year contract with the Bulls as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Wizards. The 27-year-old averaged 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists last season in Washington while shooting 48.5 percent from the field, 39.5 percent from beyond the arc and 81.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Satoransky is going to push Kris Dunn and rookie Coby White in practice. The Bulls are expected to start Dunn, while White will be Dunn's primary backup. Satoransky can play point guard and shooting guard.

Jabari Parker is a Chicago native, so even though his short tenure with the Bulls was a disaster, the swingman is always going to have love for the city and the franchise he grew up rooting for.
