Brooklyn Nets combo guard Spencer Dinwiddie has a curious offer for Chicago Bulls ownership.

The Bulls are currently in the midst of their search for a new executive vice president of basketball operations, and Dinwiddie has an interesting candidate in mind: himself.

Actually, Dinwiddie would be the second player/GM after “LeGM” himself, LeBron James. He then laid out his whole plan for the Bulls in a long Twitter thread.

Jokes aside, the tweet lends some interesting perspective both as to how other players around the league might perceive the Bulls organization as well as Dinwiddie's future with the Nets.

In some ways, the Bulls have been a relative laughingstock, with a number of their young players showing displeasure with head coach Jim Boylen while failing to deliver on preseason playoff expectations. Of course, Boylen's failures as a head coach are also the failures of executives John Paxson and Gar Forman, who have shown plenty of complacency with respect to Boylen's standing and the development of the current roster.

Simultaneously, Dinwiddie finds himself in a curious situation in Brooklyn.

The 27-year-old is having a fine season for the Nets, but he was also a name that generated buzz at the trade deadline.

There might not be a place for Dinwiddie once both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant return, especially considering the Nets also have Caris LeVert.

This is not to draw conclusions that Dinwiddie wants to come to Chicago, though he has a fairly team friendly contract in the next few years and might be an upgrade as a playmaker at the point guard spot for the Bulls. The  guard was actually a member of the Bulls for a short time in 2016, but he was waived before the regular season started.

Dinwiddie is never afraid to speak his mind, though he also loves to joke around on social media. The Bulls are just hoping they do not make a mockery of their current search, and it appears they're zeroing in on Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas for the job.
