The Chicago Bulls are currently ranked 10th in the Eastern Conference. Putting them in the running for the play-in game for now. The team suffered a loss on Friday night against the Atlanta Hawks, but not without Zach LaVine going bonkers once again. He finished with 50 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

LaVine has been more than impressive this year, but when you play on the Bulls, you're always compared to Michael Jordan. In Jordan's career, he was able to score at least 50 points on 38 separate occasions. LaVine provided a hilarious response, per K.C. Johnson.

The legend of Michael Jordan continues, as he's now become a ghost and a myth in LaVine's eyes. However great Zach LaVine has been though, it hasn't quite translated to wins just yet. The Bulls are still a relatively young roster and after trading for Nikola Vucevic, the team is still learning to play together. LaVine doesn't seem worried about chasing Michael Jordan's 50 point record, as he would have preferred a victory on Friday night instead.

It would have been a big win for Chicago as the Hawks are currently ranked fifth in the East. A victory over a better team could've given the roster a boost of confidence as they make their push for the playoffs. Luckily for them, they're 2.5 games ahead of the Toronto Raptors. As long as Chicago can stay ahead of Toronto, they should remain in contention for the play-in game.

Catch the Bulls' next game on Sunday night as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is an excellent matchup for the team to get back on track.
