The Chicago Bulls are wanting to improve their back-court this offseason and there is one way that they could do just that. Currently holding the No. 7 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Bulls will have a chance to take a guard should they choose to do so. They may have even made a promise to one of the top guards in the draft class.

According to a report from Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, the Bulls may have made a promise to North Carolina guard Coby White at No. 7.

White is a very talented prospect, but there are some that think drafting him would be a mistake that high. Chicago obviously does not believe in Kris Dunn as their point guard of the future anymore. While White may not be a seasoned point guard, he would certainly be an intriguing fit in Chicago.

Last season with the Tar Heels, White ended up averaging 16.1 points per game to go along with 4.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds. He shot 42.2 percent from the field overall and knocked down 35.3 percent of his three-point attempts. Those numbers certainly look good on the surface.

Chicago can't afford to miss with this pick. There have been rumors that they could look to deal the pick for Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball, but that may be a bit of a long shot.

It will be interesting to see what the Bulls end up doing in the draft this year. They have a very young roster full of talent and adding White to that group may be a perfect fit.

Expect to hear plenty more rumors about the Bulls and their plans for the draft in the coming weeks.
